The Golden Hind

A landmark attraction of Brixham is the Golden Hind replica. It’s a popular recreation of Sir Frances Drake’s flagship where you can experience five decks of Tudor history and adventure. Just watch out for those pirates!

Why not leave the car behind? You can catch the No.18 bus from just outside our holiday cottages into Brixham. It also heads to Kingswear, with the ferry over to Dartmouth.

Enjoy fishing? Check out the booking facilities at both Dartmouth and Brixham, where you will find a wealth of opportunities for a range of fishing trips. Crabbing is a must too and all the equipment you’ll need is readily available.
