This cosy holiday cottage in Brixham sits next to another bookable holiday let in a beautiful area just 2 miles from the heart of the town. Here, you will find a pretty harbour which is perfect for a mid-morning stroll, looking at the surrounding colourful cottages, before heading off for lunch at one of the many seafood restaurants, cafes and pubs. During your stay with us you must take a dip in the open-air seawater lido at Shoalstone, or try out a new water sport!
Head out further and explore the rest of the ever-popular English Riviera and picturesque South Hams, which could include a short drive to Noss Marina in Kingswear where you can take the ferry across the water to popular Dartmouth. Other attractions easily accessible from here include Paignton Zoo (5.5 miles), Agatha Christie’s Greenway House (3.5 miles), Dartmoor National Park (16 miles) and the stunning cathedral city of Exeter (30 miles).

Step inside this delightful property and you will find that the accommodation immediately opens into a lovely open-plan studio-style apartment with a lounge/kitchen/diner and a sleeping area. The lounge area is a cosy and sociable space with a comfortable sofa in front of a Smart TV and an intimate and relaxed dining area. The sofa easily converts to a comfy sofa bed for a third guest. The contemporary kitchen area is perfectly appointed and offers a great range of appliances including an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge with ice compartment. The sleeping area has a welcoming double bed. Completing the offering inside the property is a lovely wet-room-style shower room with a walk-in shower and a WC.
This cosy holiday cottage in Brixham is perfectly located for enjoying the best local walks. It also has a small outdoor area (which is a real sun trap) and also has a private car parking for 2 cars.
Step inside this pretty property and to the right where the accommodation opens up into a beautifully light yet cosy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Here, comfortable sofas sit in front of a Smart TV and provide the perfect place to relax after a day exploring, and the dining area is the perfect venue for relaxed meals. The sleek kitchen area is also perfectly appointed and offers a great range of appliances. Venture back into the hallway and because all of the rooms are handily on the same level, you will find the two beautiful bedrooms. The first of which is a double and then a beautifully presented twin zip-and-link (which can be made up as a super-king-size on request, please note space is limited when set up as a super-king-size). Completing the offering inside the property is a lovely contemporary bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC.
Heading outside and located to the front of the property, there is a delightful enclosed garden with an area of lawn, a patio area and garden furniture. Here, you can dine alfresco when the weather permits or relax in the sun without needing to venture to the beach. Private off-road parking for 2 cars (parking behind each other)

Large wet room
First impressions are always the most important, and my first impression was that it was spotlessly clean. Extremely comfortable bed, with lovely linens, and a cosy sofa too. Large wet room, with a beautiful monsoon shower and the best heated towel rail ever!

This fab holiday cottage in Brixham is ideal for 2 people and a dog. Very well equipped, very clean and parking adjacent to the property. Well located for travelling around locally. Smart TV and comfy sofa and bed. Lovely wet room. We would definitely recommend.

Will be back
We spent 2 weeks at Ramblers Retreat. The accommodation was fabulous. Surroundings were lovely. Loads to do and see. Man Sands beach was clean and quiet and dog friendly. We had the best holiday and will be back.
